What Melbourne Clients Say
A few years ago Rich lovingly restored a Parker sideboard and two Van Treight armchairs that I inherited from my grandparents. When I found Rich online, his skill and passion was clear. This was reflected in his work, which was meticulous and showed incredible respect for both the furniture and their story. They are still glowing, and centrepieces of our home. I can't recommend Rich's work enough. He is a great guy, and great to communicate with.
Rich restored a beloved Parker table that had previously belonged to my grandparents and had quite significant deterioration and water marks. The end result was incredible, and not only did Rich do an amazing job but he also gave us very helpful advice on how to maintain the table in great condition. He is truly a master craftsman that takes pride in restoring furniture. I would happily recommend him to anyone with a piece requiring restoration!
Rich did a brilliant job of restoring a pair of FLER arm chairs for us. We also bought a beautiful coffee table from him that he'd restored. Lovely to work with. Highly recommend his work.
Rich restored 3-5 pieces of furniture in 2023, some modern, some vintage - dining table, coffee table, drinks unit. Exquisitely restored, knows his craft. Def utilize services in future. Thanks Rich.
Richard at MCM worked on a couple of pieces that needed restoration and I can only say his work is absolutely first class. A total craftsmen at what he does and I could not recommend him highly enough.
Richard did a great job of restoring our 4 Tessa mid-century swivel chairs. He stripped the original factory finish (red tinted varnish) to reveal beautiful blackwood timber. Finished with a natural wax to highlight the timber. Very happy with the result.
